The Generac 48 kW Generator adds well-known features to new improvements with the Protector XG series. The 40kW XG04048 has a 4.5 Liter engine that runs at 1800 RPM under load and 1200 RPM during self-test or at low idle. A NEW Power Zone 420 Controller brings the latest in technology with additional functionality and more features than ever before, including the ability to select the fuel type at the controller without any other modifications. This controller is NFPA 110 capable.
